Title: Why does my Toyota Corolla shake at high speeds?
Linear Mode
#1
Whenever I hit 60 mph or more, my steering wheel starts to shake like crazy, and it’s really starting to worry me. I’ve got a 2012 Toyota Corolla with around 80,000 miles on it. A few months ago, I had new tires put on because the old ones were worn out, and I figured that would solve the problem. But no luck! I’ve also had the tires balanced and rotated, but the shaking still happens at high speeds. I’m starting to think it might be something with the alignment or maybe even the suspension. I checked for any obvious signs like uneven wear on the tires, but everything looks good. Could it be the struts or tie rods? Has anyone else had this issue? I really want to avoid taking it to the shop if it’s something I can figure out myself, but I’m not sure what to look for next. Any advice or suggestions would be awesome!
