Title: Flashing oil light in my Toyota Corolla – should I be worried?
Linear Mode
#1
Hey everyone, I’ve got a 2011 Toyota Corolla, and I just noticed that the oil light is flashing on my dashboard. Naturally, I panicked and pulled over to check the oil level, but it seems totally fine. So now I’m wondering... should I be freaking out about this, or could it be something as simple as a faulty sensor? I’m not hearing any strange noises or seeing any other warning lights, but the flashing oil light has me a bit on edge. Has anyone else had this happen with their Corolla? Could it be an oil pressure issue even though the level looks good, or is there a chance the sensor is just acting up? Any advice would be much appreciated before I head to the shop!
