Title: Gas tank size differences across Toyota Corolla models

I’ve got a 2012 Corolla myself, and I totally get what you’re saying—it sometimes feels like I’m at the pump more often than I’d like. But as far as I know, the gas tank size for the 2012 Corolla is pretty standard across the different trims. All the 2012 Corolla models, whether it’s the base, LE, or S trim, should have a 13.2-gallon tank.

If you feel like you’re filling up more frequently, it might not be the tank size that’s the issue. A few things could be at play here. For one, driving habits or conditions can really impact fuel economy—city driving, heavy traffic, or a lot of stop-and-go can make you burn through gas quicker. Another thing to consider is the health of your car’s fuel system. If the air filter, fuel injectors, or even the spark plugs are a bit worn, it could cause your car to use more fuel.

It’s also worth keeping an eye on your tire pressure; underinflated tires can reduce fuel efficiency too. I noticed a difference when I made sure mine were properly inflated. If everything checks out and you’re still seeing a drop in fuel economy, it might be worth getting a mechanic to take a look just to rule out any issues.

But yeah, in terms of tank size, the 13.2 gallons should be what you’re working with, same as the rest of us with 2012 models.
