So, are splash guards really necessary? I know some people swear by them, but I’ve been driving without them on my '14 Corolla, and I don’t see much of a difference. Do they actually protect against debris, or are they more for looks? If you've got them on, do you notice less dirt or damage to the undercarriage, or is it just a waste of money?
