Title: Correct firing order for 2015 Toyota Corolla 1.8L Engine
Threaded Mode
#1
Hey folks, I was under the hood of my 2015 Corolla with the 1.8L engine yesterday, and I realized I never checked the firing order. It’s one of those details that’s easy to overlook but crucial for keeping the engine running smoothly. Does anyone have the correct firing order for this engine? I want to make sure I’ve got it right and avoid any misfires.

Hey there! I’ve been under the hood of my 2015 Corolla a few times, so I totally get where you’re coming from. The firing order for the 1.8L engine (that would be the 2ZR-FE) is 1-3-4-2. It’s definitely one of those details that can slip through the cracks, but it’s great you’re checking it now. Getting it right is key to avoiding any misfires and keeping everything running smoothly. If you’re still not sure or need any help with the process, feel free to ask—happy to help out!
