The wiring setup is pretty straightforward for this model. You’ve got the main battery cable that connects to the larger terminal on the starter, and then there’s the smaller wire, which is the ignition wire, connecting to the smaller terminal. Just make sure everything is clean and tight; corrosion can cause all sorts of issues.

I don’t have a diagram on hand, but I’d recommend checking out a Haynes manual if you can get your hands on one—it’s been my go-to for years.
