Hey everyone, I’m getting ready to do some maintenance on my 2009 Toyota Corolla with the 1.8L 4-cylinder engine (2ZR-FE) and need to make sure I’ve got the spark plug gap right. I’ve seen a few different numbers floating around online—most seem to say 0.043 inches, but I wanna be 100% sure before I start. Anyone who’s done this recently able to confirm the correct gap for the 1.8L engine? I don’t want to end up with rough idling or misfires because I got the gap wrong. Also, are there any specific plugs you guys recommend for this engine, or should I just stick to OEM?
