Title: What type of transmission fluid does a Toyota Corolla use?
Threaded Mode
#1
Hey guys, I’m getting ready to change the transmission fluid in my Toyota Corolla, but I want to make sure I’m using the right type. Does anyone know exactly what transmission fluid I should be using? I’ve heard that Toyota ATF WS is the standard for most Corollas, but I’m not entirely sure if that applies to my model.

Also, how often do you guys usually change your transmission fluid? I’m starting to notice some rough shifts lately, and I’m wondering if it’s overdue for a change. I really don’t want to mess up the transmission by using the wrong fluid, so any advice would be great! Should I just stick to what’s in the owner’s manual, or is there a better option out there? Thanks!
