Title: Can I drive my Toyota Corolla without power steering?
Threaded Mode
#1
Hey everyone, I think my power steering pump just gave out on my 2010 Toyota Corolla. The steering wheel has become really hard to turn, especially at lower speeds, and I’m pretty sure it’s the pump. Here’s the thing: I’ve still been driving it, and it’s basically giving me a free upper-body workout at this point!  But I’m wondering, is it okay to keep driving like this for a bit, or am I risking some serious damage to the car? I know power steering makes things easier, but can I safely drive without it for a while? Has anyone here dealt with this before, and how long did you go without fixing it? Any tips would be great!
